Fortune Denim is a new, up-and-coming denim brand that is blazing its path through the celebrity list already. With its sleek style, imperial satin lining, and individual fortunes this brand has made a mark and might, just might make it a little further than most designer jean labels springing up left and right these days.
Everyone is trying to come up with something new and creative to stand out amongst the crowd. Fortune is no exception. I love the idea of sewing an individual fortune into each jean. After all, who doesn't like to open a fortune cookie and see what it has to say? Let's just hope the pair you end up keeping has a fortune you can deal with! And I am really liking the idea of having the inside of my jeans lined in satin; goodbye abrasive waistbands and bunched up pockets! They boast that the lining comes in a few different shades representing the Tang Dynasty. Did I mention the buttons come with 24 hand-set delicate swarovski crystals that resemble a special ancient Chinese coin? The subtle but metallic and slightly abstract floral design on the back pockets gives them just enough femininity and just enough flare.The downside? These baby's are pricey. And not likely to be easy to find for any discount unless you live in L.A. or N.Y. I have no idea how they fit, or what body shapes they will most likely flatter, but I am itching to find out! Hopefully I can snag a pair sometime in the future, if I am so fortunate!
