Skip the Knife, Opt for Jeans

There's the 'pear', the 'apple' the 'square'. And then there's the curvy and the boy-ish figure, the short and the tall, the thin, the athletic. After looking at many guides I have come to one simple realization. None of us fit into just one of these standards. Or two. Maybe three at the least. What is most frustrating is that many guides will assume that if you have a certain 'shape' your height and everything else will be a certain way- and this is just not so. That is why I am formulating a new guide that should be more helpful for targeting every need in a clear and comprehensive manner!

This ultra-condensed guide will finally allow you to find your VARIOUS body 'types' and 'issues', and actually find out exactly what will work best for you! No more guessing! :)

I will be posting one section a day until it is all posted!

Tummy Tuck

Instead of spending thousands on surgery, try some jeans first! For controlling your stomach area, ALWAYS look for a mid-rise jean if this is what you are aiming specifically to fix! No other part of the jean is going to help without a strong supportive mid-rise as a foundation!

•Pockets: Not applicable to this particular area, it is dependent on other issues. Check your other areas of concern on this list to see what may be best for you.

•Cut: Not applicable to this particular area, it is dependent on other issues. Check your other areas of concern on this list to see what may be best for you.

•Rise: Always mid-rise (not low rise or extra high- you will need the waistband to support across the trouble area). Wide waistbands are much more comfortable and supportive generally than smaller ones. There are also many brands specifically designed to control stomachs (such as Not Your Daughters Jeans).

•Wash: Preferably, you want to shop for dark washes, which conceal more lumps and bumps than medium or light washes. And you will also want to look for a heavy denim (some stretch, but mostly rigid, to conceal lumps and bumps). Paige makes some wonderful higher than average rise options, and her jeans are very comfortable but have thick and supportive fabric.

•Stretch or Rigid: A very sturdy stretch will do this job best! Avoid jeans with thin fabric or a stretch that goes on forever. The brand 'Not Your Daughter's Jeans' aka, NYDJ, is a well-known brand for helping give shape and support all over!! To learn more about this brand: Sandel Shapes Things Up With Tummy Tuck Jeans
